Churches Together Walk of Witness – 18th April, 9.45am
Churches Together in Kidlington held their annual Walk of Witness on the morning of Good Friday, starting at 9:45am from St John’s Church (Broadway, Kidlington, OX5 1DD). This is a powerful way to mark and remember a seismic day as we carry the wooden cross past cars, commuters and shoppers, stopping off to sing Easter songs and tell the story again of Jesus’ journey to the cross and all that it means to us together.
The whole walk was around 1.5 miles, and we stopped along the route at St Thomas More Church (142 Oxford Road, OX51DZ) and Kidlington Methodist Church (53 Oxford Road, OX5 2BP), before finishing right in the heart of the village on the High Street.

After the walk at around 11am, everyone adjourned to Kidlington Methodist Church for Hot Cross Buns and refreshments.
